Cúrate is a guided journey into the culinary treasure troves of Spain. Our collection of restaurants, online marketplace, wine club, and culinary journeys create a portal to Spanish culture.

Katie Button and Felix Meana built Cúrate on its Spanish meaning –“heal yourself.” They believe that discovering new flavors can unite people in a delicious moment of wonder and joy that cures the soul.

We invite you to do as the Spanish do and take the time to savor these moments – whether you’re visiting our nationally acclaimed flagship restaurant, Cúrate Bar de Tapas; enjoying a private event in our Cúrate Private Wine Cellar or Cúrate Event Space; embarking on a Mediterranean food and wine adventure with Cúrate Trips; or recreating the Cúrate experience anywhere you please by joining the Cúrate Wine Club or snagging some of our go-to Spanish bites from our online gourmet marketplace, Cúrate at Home.

Located in Cúrate’s intimate wine cellar, this five-course Mediterranean-inspired tapas dinner will be stewarded by premier Penedès enólogo (vigneron) Finca Viladellops and paired with their 100% organically farmed estate Garnatxas (Grenache) and Xarel·los, both indigenous varieties to the Garraf Massif region.

Part of our ongoing curated wine dinner series, this event offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with the people behind the wine while enjoying a one-of-a-kind culinary journey through Spain.

Viladellops’ wines are noted for their minerality and aromatics, owing to the area’s lime-rich soil dotted with sea fossils and ocean sediment. Each grape is handpicked from the winery’s 500 hectares of historic vineyards, planted in 1877 by the Desvalls family just 250 metres above sea level and overlooking the Castle of Olèrdola in the distance. The Desvalls’ centuries-old winemaking history makes for wines of unparalleled quality.

Turn up the early‑summer energy with some of our favorite Asheville collaborators at the first‑ever “Pinche Pintxo Party”! Cúrate Chef James Jefferies is throwing down with Chef Luis Martinez and the vibrant team at Botanist & Barrel to celebrate the release of our limited‑edition Basque‑style Cúrate cider, poured for the first time by wine director Jess Salyer alongside fresh picks from Botanist & Barrel’s DeFi lineup!

Chef Martinez will be slinging corn‑centric pequenito antojito pinche pintxos, inspired by his journey from Zapotec pueblo to Appalachia and his work uplifting indigenous farmers through Tequio Foods. Expect playful Oaxacan bites and modern Spanish pica picas designed to pair with our tart, lightly effervescent sagardo-style cider made right here in the South.
