These large, “Castellano” chickpeas are processed in Navarra before being put into jars. Cooked beautifully so that they retain some bite, but still tender and moist. They are remarkably versatile – Katie Button uses them to add substance to green salads, and along with high quality canned tuna, spinach and tomatoes for a quick room temperature pasta dinner.
