Raventós Wines at Cúrate

Curate_Raventos_Event

On Wednesday, April 13, Cúrate is proud to host a wine dinner showcasing Raventós I Blanc wines. This historic winery specializes in sparkling wines, and has been in the Raventós family since 1497.

We will welcome the spring weather by featuring three of their world-renowned sparkling cavas and one still wine. This will conclude our wine dinner series for the season, so it is an event not to be missed!

The wines will be served with Cúrate tapas, a family-style menu crafted by Chef Katie Button. The menu includes classics from the regular menu with a surprise or two for our guests.

Our very special guest will be Pepe Raventós– manager, oenologist and wine grower at the prestigious winery. He has been with the company for 15 years, and is a university-trained oenologist. His pursuit of excellence is evident as he endeavors to make his grandfather’s winery a star of the region. It is an honor to have him at Cúrate to discuss the winemaking process with us, and we are excited to learn more about Raventós I Blanc.

The winery has recently established the Conca del Riu Anoia, a regional distinction that underscores their commitment to estate-grown and produced wines and cava that is 100% organic and biodynamic and using native grape varietals. They have been praised in many publications, including Decanter, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Vinotheque magazine.
Josh Spurling from Table Wine will be in attendance as well, to lend his expertise and offer wines for purchase.

Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets now! We look forward to seeing you there.
