Forage + Dine with Evarist March Sarlat
We are honored and excited to announce that tickets are now available for a foraging experience and dinner with Evarist March Sarlat, renowned botanist of El Celler de Can Roca. Join us for a private dinner with limited seating, hosted by Evarist, Chef Katie Button and Felix Meana on Sunday February 3 at 6:30pm at Cúrate.
The meal will be preceded by an optional VIP Foraging Outing with Evarist and Katie on Saturday afternoon in collaboration with the local foragers at No Taste Like Home. Chef Katie Button will incorporate foraged items into an incredible menu for the Sunday night dinner, accompanied by expertly curated beverage pairings. The VIP Foraging Outing tickets are limited, and are first come, first served. The tour will be within a 45-minute drive from downtown Asheville and begin at approximately 1:30 on Saturday, February 2. The location will be finalized and communicated via email about 3 days prior to the outing. A bagged lunch is included in the cost of the foraging ticket. Transportation to the meeting point will be the responsibility of the guest.

About Evarist March Sarlat & El Celler de Can Roca:
Sarlat is a teacher and consultant in gastrobotany, with over 20 years of experience in the transmission of botanical & environmental knowledge especially related to the use of plants & fungi & development of Ecotourism projects. He currently serves as the Botanist at El Celler de Can Roca (Girona, Spain), where he analyzes and verifies the potential of wild plants applied to haute cuisine. El Celler de Can Roca, regarded as one of the best restaurants in the world, is run by the Roca brothers. It has received 3 Michelin Stars, and was named the Best Restaurant in the World in 2013 and 2014, coming in at #2 in 2014.
Evarist turned his passion for nature into his profession, through his Ecotourism company: Naturalwalks. Naturalwalks seeks to establish a certification & recognition based on the quality of nature guides in Catalonia, Spain and the international arena. In 2017 Naturalwalks was recognized with the Best Tourist Experience award in Catalonia, & in 2018 the USA World Food Travel Association recognized them as the second best tour operator of food & wine tours.
