Two employees are recognized each month at Cúrate and receive a gift card to a local establishment as a token of gratitude.
From Assistant Manager Mark Baker: The FOH awesome employee this month is Eric Poage. I think it is safe to say Eric is our most improved employee as he has made leaps and bounds since he first started with us. The pride he takes in his job is apparent to everyone around him and the guests notice as well. He has the ability to keep a calm and cool demeanor even during the busiest times. He chose Chestnut for his gift card.
Eric was also mentioned in a recent blog post from Knoxfoodie featuring a meal at Cúrate. The Tennessee-based food and drink bloggers said “Eric, our server for the evening, was incredibly pleasant and provided great recommendations on beverage pairings and dessert selections.”
We are so happy they enjoyed the visit, and his service, as that is an integral part of the Cúrate experience. Great job, Eric!
For the back-of-house, Frank Muller, director of culinary operations, selected Matt Podos: Matt Podos, a transplant from Ohio, moved to Asheville this summer. After our interview with Matt, we immediately decided that we wanted him to join our team here at Cúrate. He quickly became someone I can count on and is truly a pleasure to work with. Matt’s work ethic and desire to learn new stations make him somebody we hope to have around for quite some time. He received a gift card from Mast General Store.
